What’s this beautiful salad missing? Bread & Bacon!

Inspired by a YouTube video, We enjoyed a delicious bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich for dinner with just the right amount of mayo.
Or take it upscale by making a rosemary & butter spread instead of using mayo.

Field raised veggies aren’t ready yet, but if you are lucky enough to find a local hydroponic farmer, definitely try their produce. It’s super clean and is fresh & local all year long!

Wet & Cold? Time for a warm and delicious dinner with local product

Sometimes simple is best. A drizzle of olive oil and a sprig of rosemary

When rain keeps you indoors, why not expand your cooking repertoire?

A rack of lamb makes an impressive and delicious meal.

If you happened to stockpile some dried or frozen sour cherries last summer, they make a perfect sauce for drizzling of the lamb. Other dried or frozen fruits such as blueberries or prunes would be good too!

If you’re cooking for one, feel free to cut the rack down and make a savory meal with quinoa or millet pilaf for one meal and a sweet fruit sauce with roasted root veggies for a completely different meal.

Lamb is delicious over warmed arugula or rice also. Jasmine or Basmati rice bring their own flavors to the dish.

Send us your best rack of lamb recipes! We’d love to know your favorite flavor combinations for enjoying delicious lamb.

We hope you all are staying dry!

Wintertime is here!

There will be special meals with close friends & family and traditions for every holiday between now and New Years.

Please consider shopping local this holiday season. Decorations, Gifts, and food can all be found locally with a little effort.

Christmas Trees farms are a great (Covid-safe)outing and many farms will cut the trees for you so don’t worry about that job! They are also a great source for fresh wreaths & centerpieces. There are quite a few farms scattered around Yamhill & Washington Counties.

Local artisans may have the perfect jam or jelly crafted for your table. Take a look at your local Farmer’s Market FB page or website to find an artisan with the exact product you’re looking for.

Need materials for a quick handmade project? Consider Lambs Tales roving or wool. Use roving to make amazingly lifelike critters or a custom coffee cup cozy to show support for your favorite team or movement!

Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll try and help you find it!
